Did you ever start a project with a simple idea only to find out there is nothing simple about it? Most of us have and many times we are so overwhelmed by the evolving complexity that the project simply dies the slow death of not enough time and energy. This website could have been one of those projects.

We began the planning for this website more than fifteen months ago. Our other site was almost ten years old and in these days and times that might as well have been one hundred. Not only was the site a little dated in terms of its appearance but it also lacked the ability to utilize the many evolving technologies that could increase the connectivity between HADCO and our customers and trade partners. With the current pace of developments in technology, I will be very surprised if this site last as long as the previous one.

What we have developed is an E-commerce platform supported by our website and the application software we use to manage our business. The website is designed to provide easy access for consumers, designers, builders and developers to the fine product lines we represent. Links to our vendor partners’ websites will provide easy access to catalogs, warranty information, service support and specifications. Our dealer/servicer locator provides quick reference for consumers to find our products for sale and/or service. Our “From the Chefs” section will feature interesting articles and videos relating to cooking and food. We hope to promote a community of people who are interested in learning and sharing about food and food preparation, storage and clean up.

Our trade partners have access through a special login to place orders online, check stock levels and review accounts. They will have access to commonly used forms and the ability to utilize these forms online to process requests.

We started our business on the premise that we could change the way people looked at their appliance purchases by creating a customer experience that would allow them to see and appreciate the latest concepts in cooking, cleaning and storage of food. That was more than forty years ago.

Forty plus years later, we are still sharing our vision with consumers who are building or remodeling their homes, builders and developers who are looking for ways to make their homes more marketable and designers and architects who are looking for ways to make their designs more interesting and attractive to their clients. We hope you find our new website and E-Commerce platform attractive, interesting and easy to use. We will be constantly striving to provide new and interesting content . Please help us with your comments and suggestions.
