Ingredients
3 Eggs (Beaten lightly)
1 Cup Whole Milk
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
6 Slices of Cinnamon Swirl Bread
2 Cups Maple Syrup
¼ Cup Chopped Pecans
2 Tablespoons Butter |

Directions
Start by melting the butter in a one-quart saucepan.
Add pecans and sauté for two to three minutes on medium heat. Add maple syrup, reduce heat to low. Preheat skillet or griddle to a medium high heat.
Blend milk, eggs, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon together and dip both sides of each of the pieces of bread into the mixture just before placing onto heated cooking surface. Cook around one to two minutes per side or until golden brown.
Serve with warm maple pecan syrup, cheese eggs, and crispy bacon for a delicious weekend breakfast in bed. |
